Homework

We provide time and help to complete homework at the center. When needed we have supplemental material and activities that allows for further understanding of their school work.

Crafts

We love crafts here at Playology. We believe that children learn to value and appreciate cultures and times through art. These experiences in arts and crafts allow them to reflect critically on their own work and those by others. They will learn to act and think like designers and artists, working intelligently and creatively.

Play

Play is in our name! Whether it's independently or with a group there is always a lesson to be learned through play. We believe that school age children especially need time for play. When children play they learn the skills that they will need for the rest of their lives.

Outdoors

Weather permitting we take time to go outside and enjoy the fresh air. Sometimes that means going on a nature walk and other times we have less structure times of play. Allowing the kids to run, play and jump which is vital to school age health.

Reading time

Everyday we take time to sit and read. Many choose to find a cozy place and read by themselves. While others take turns reading to each other.
